Banana + Almond Butter + Chia Seed Toast

It’s really important to pack as much nutrient density as you can into your meals using whole food ingredients.  I often find that most people don’t get enough nutrition at the start of their day.  Here’s a great breakfast idea that is quick, easy and full of nutrition.

Try this at home:

1) Toast 1-2 slices of Sprouted Grain Bread like Ezekiel Bread or Silver Hills

2) Top with Almond Butter or Sunflower Butter

3) Add a layer of sliced bananas

4) Sprinkle with chia seeds or hemp hearts

This simple breakfast will help fuel your body, balance blood sugar levels and give you the nutrition you need for great energy all day long.

      Hi Greg,

      Thanks! With 1 tbsp of almond butter containing nearly 3gm of protein and 1 tsp of chia seed containing 1.5gm protein, one toast with a tbsp of almond butter and 1 tsp of chia sprinkled over will offer 4.5gm of protein. This is not including the slice of sprouted grain bread that also contains 4gm of protein. Yes, a nice light snack, with a big PUNCH of plant protein. 🙂
