National Post: Cows’ milk cancer link

dairy

Holy Smokes!  Did I just read this in the National Post!!!

The National Post just posted an article about the link between dairy and cancer.  Read the article here: Cows’ milk is good for calves, but not for us: Avoid cancer by axing dairy & meat.

This is information that has been talked about by Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr. Joel FurhmanDr. Sat Dharma Kaur, and so many other health experts.   As a fledgling Naturopathic Doctor over a decade ago, I was taught the obvious but overlooked fact that:

1) Humans are the only mammals that drink the milk of another mammal.

2) Humans are the only mammal that continues to drink milk past infancy.

3) All this milk consumption in North America had links to countless health conditions, like cancer.*

It’s a great thing to (finally!!!) see a main stream media source positing this information.  Dr. Jane Plant’s story is a remarkable illustration of the link between diet and disease.

We CAN reverse and prevent ill health by our food choices.  Food is medicine and if it isn’t for you already, it can be!

*Note: For countless generations, breast cancer was unheard of in Asian countries where dairy consumption was zero or negligible.  Due to globalization, as the traditional Asian diet is becoming more Westernized, this is sadly changing.  See link: Impact of westernization in Japan

Good morning Laura, Great subject! I’ve tried to switch over to Almond milk…however it not the same taste! I gave in and went back to organic milk. What do you think about that option? Thanks, -Greg P.S. Trying to get time to come and book app…
