WIN-ning Wednesday: Brain Health

I came across this article about nutrition and stroke prevention and I thought it was brilliant!  I wanted to share it with you today.  It’s straight to the point and the information in it is concise and accurate.  I also thought the author’s options for alternatives in the “What to do” sections were really well done.  It’s helpful when an article like this gives good options for substitutions that will be effective at improving nutrition and health.

Having these foods in the diet regularly (daily or weekly) over the course of a lifetime can put a person at risk for having a stroke.  It’s the little changes we make that can make a world of difference in our long term health and longevity.

It’s nice to see this information linking diet and chronic illness making its way to mainstream news.
